dr Błażej Poboży – Ph.D. in political science. For over a dozen years, he has been affiliated with the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw (formerly, the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science). He has twice received a distinction in the competition for the best lecturer at the University of Warsaw. He also serves as an active local government official. From June 2016 to November 2018, he was Deputy Mayor of Bemowo, district of the capital city of Warsaw. Since 2018 he sits in the Warsaw City Council, where he also is Vice-President of the Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość) Club. In 2018, he was awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission for outstanding contributions to education and upbringing. Since September 2019, he has been serving as Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.

Research interests

Modern political history of Poland, history of Polish political parties, Polish parties and social movements, Polish political scene, Warsaw politics.
