On Friday and Saturday (March 19-20, 21), the 5th final of the Safety and Defense Contest (Olimpiada Wiedzy o Bezpieczeństwie i Obronności) took place at our faculty. On March 19, participants wrote a test that appointed 12 finalists. On the next day, the aforementioned twelve took part in the Knowledge Quiz, which was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, Daniel Przastek, Ph.D., D.Sc. Three students qualified for the final stage – Emil Kielar (the winner), Michał Okruciński and Krzysztof Sycz. Congratulations to all participants!

The Contest was organized by the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Main School of Fire Service and NATO Force Integration Unit Poland. The honorary patrons were:
- The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration
- Minister of National Education and Science
The patron was the Social Insurance Institution, and the partner was LOT Polish Airlines.
