On 15 November 2019, the Warsaw University was visited by a great number of delegates from the Srinakharinwirot University – the largest Thai University with its office in Bangkok. The president of the University, Prof. Somchai Santiwatanakul, was the head of the delegation. He was accompanied with the vice-presidents: prof. Prit Supasetsiri (responsible for international relations) and Prof. Pansiri Phansuwan (responsible for science matters), Prof. Aotip Ratniyom (Dean of Faculty of Economics), Dr Danai Tanamee (Deputy Dean of Faculty of Economics),  Prof. Suppanunta Romprasert (Research Deputy Dean), Prof. Cholvit Jearajit (Dean of Faculty of Social Studies), Prof. Sonthaya Sriramatr (Dean of Faculty of Physical Education), Prof. Nak Gulid (performing the duties of the Dean of Management Faculty), Prof. Parin Chaivisuthangkura (Dean of Science Faculty), Prof. Somphop Rodamporn (Dean of Engineering Faculty), Prof. Chatchai Ekpanyasku (Dean of the Master Studies Faculty).

The Thai delegation took part in a meeting on the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies on the Warsaw University. Dr hab. Daniel Przastek, the Deputy Dean for financial and development matters of WNPiSM was in charge of the discussion. After the presentation of both of the universities, discussion regarding their future cooperation were carried out. At 11, the guest from Thailand lead by the President of the University – Prof. Somchai Santiwatanakul, went to the Senate Hall of the Warsaw University where the Memorandum of Understanding was signed. Warsaw University authorities, represented by the Deputy Dean – prof. ucz. dr hab. Jolanta Choińska-Mika. Warsaw University authorities were represented by prof. ucz. dr hab. Jolanta Choińska-Mika, a Dean of the students affair and quality. WNPiSM was represented by dr hab. Daniel Przastek, dr Łukasz Zamęcki  (deputy dean for scientific research and international cooperation) and  dr hab. Jakub Zajączkowski Head of the Regional and Global Studies).

In addition to the meeting in the University, the guest from Thailand visited the old campus in the company of the Warsaw Museum employess.
