On November 28, 2019 (Friday), we hosted at the Faculty a delegation from Liaocheng University. Guests from China were led by the university’s vice president for research and international relations, prof. Haiquan Hu. The rest of the delegation formed: prof. Wenjun Wang – Dean of the Physics Faculty, prof. Xuesong Cao – Dean of the Life Science Faculty; prof. Bingxue Yao – Dean of the Mathematics Faculty and prof. Qinglin Wang – research worker from the Faculty of Physics.
Guests at the Collegium Politicum were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies of the University of Warsaw – prof. Stanisław Sulowski. During the bilateral meeting, the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies of the University of Warsaw was represented by dr hab. Jakub Zajączkowski (Dean’s Plenipotentiary for International Bilateral Cooperation), dr Łukasz Gołota (Department of Regional and Global Studies of the the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies), Linda Masalska (Recruitment Coordinator) and Jakub Nowotarski (Dean’s Plenipotentiary for Promotion and Communication).
Participants of the meeting talked about issues of cooperation between our universities. The discussed topics include the issue of publishing in magazines and the arrival of groups of Chinese students to winter and summer schools organized at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies.
After the meeting, the Chinese delegation visited the historic central campus of the University of Warsaw, and then went to a meeting with the Deputy Mayor of the Śródmieście District – Mr. Tomasz Bratka. At the city hall they discussed cooperation between universities and public administration.
