The WNPiSM UW Center for Research on Human Trafficking invites you to a lecture by Dr. Amy Weatherburn  “What is labour exploitation? Belgian and British experience”. The lecture will take place on January 13, 2020 (Monday) in the prof. Jan Baszkiewicz Hall, WNPiSM Auditorium Building at 13:15.

Dr Amy Weatherburn works at the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the Free University in Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), and is also a coordinator of master’s degree in victimology at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands. Dr. Weatherburn has implemented a number of different research projects devoted to the issues of forced labor, human trafficking and human rights. In the years 2017-2019, Dr. Weatherburn together with the Center for Research on Human Trafficking WNPiSM UW implemented a research project on the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings in the context of sexual abuse (DESIrE project).
