Wymagania:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Russian foreign policy, in particular in the post- Soviet space.
  • English (at least B2), Russian (at least B2). Ukrainian (B1) or Georgian (B1) would be an asset.
  • The applicant should meet the requirements provided for in the „National Science Center Scholarship Regulations in Research Projects Funded by the National Science Center” (https://www.ncn.gov.pl/sites/default/files/pliki/uchwaly-rady/2019/uchwala25_2019-zal1.pdf), i.e. he/she should be a BA, MA or PhD student during the entire period of receiving the scholarship.

Opis zadań:Russian language data collection, including: relevant documents (national strategies and plans of action; official declarations by the government authorities, including various reports issued by relevant authorities; iregulations concerning the use of law and armed forces) in order to identify ideological positions (and their evolution) of the Russian authorities and society towards the idea of military operation in each case, causes, justifications and goals of each operation, implications of a given engagement on international normative order; press sources, in order to identify informal justifications and explanations given by the government officials in interviews, ideological positions (and their evolution) of the Russian authorities and society towards the idea of military operation in each case, attitudes, reactions, responses; ultimately chosen strategies, methods and means, main challenges to mission success during its execution, results of operation in various dimensions.
