SEMP Exchange Application
Exchanges at Swiss universities are available through inter-institutional agreements and are funded by the Swiss Government under the Swiss European Mobility Programme (SEMP). Switzerland does not participate in Erasmus+ programme.
There is currently no open application round for SEMP exchanges.
The next application round, for exchanges in the 2027/2028 academic year, will be announced around December 2026.
To apply for a SEMP exchange, submit the following documents by the specified deadline to the Office of International Cooperation and Research Programmes (Room 309, Auditorium Building):
- SEMP application form.
- Motivation letter.
- Evidence of proficiency in the language of instruction, meeting the partner university’s requirements. If you are unsure about the required language level or the types of evidence accepted, contact the partner university.
- Your thesis supervisor’s permission, if the exchange will take place in the final semester of your studies.
