Between 14–17 October, ten students from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies (WNPiSM), University of Warsaw, together with Dr. Magdalena Tomaszewska-Michalak and Dr. Łukasz Wieczorek, took part in a study visit to the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL) and the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST) in The Hague.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to attend a series of lectures expanding their knowledge of the activities of both agencies. They learned about the functioning principles, organizational structures, and examples of cases coordinated by EUROPOL and EUROJUST.

The meetings aimed to familiarize students with the work of these EU institutions, covering both the origins of their operations and their current activities. The lectures addressed topics such as the prevention of cross-border and organized crime, including money counterfeiting, tax fraud, and human trafficking.

The visit was organized by Dr. Łukasz Wieczorek from the Centre for Human Trafficking Studies, WNPiSM UW, as part of the Centre’s ongoing cooperation with EUROPOL.
