Zdzisław Najder National Competition for the Best Master’s Thesis on European Integration

The competition is held under the patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Rzeczpospolita daily newspaper. Its aim is to promote research among students and graduates of Polish universities on the idea of European unity, European integration processes, and the challenges facing Europe and the European Union.

The Zdzisław Najder Award is intended to recognise the most outstanding master’s theses and encourage young researchers to reflect on the future of European integration and Poland’s place in Europe.

Master’s theses defended at Polish universities by 30 September of a given academic year may be submitted to the competition, regardless of the field of study. Theses must be submitted by 30 November, either in printed or electronic form, together with a written recommendation from the thesis supervisor explaining why the thesis should be entered into the competition.

The Competition Committee will award the Zdzisław Najder Prize for the best master’s thesis. If the submitted theses are of a particularly high standard, the Committee may also grant additional distinctions.
