What Erasmus students say about their UW experience?

My name is Kristof and I’m an Erasmus student at the University of Warsaw. I came to Warsaw from the University of Geneva to study International Relations at the WNPiSM faculty for a semester. Choosing the University of Warsaw appeared to be one of the best decisions in my life, my Erasmus here is a really great time filled with fun, but also a lot of discoveries, meetings with unique people and learning about things that really interest me. The University is very helpful from the very beginning of your stay until the end and, especially the Erasmus coordinator’s office which was always open and welcoming for me and all other exchange students. Warsaw is the place to come and its University is super friendly, I am sure I will never forget my Erasmus time here. This place will certainly see me come back (maybe for my Master studies, who knows…) and I’m very glad the University of Warsaw made my stay unforgettable.

Kristof, Universite de Geneve

I’m still feeling like I’m having one of the best experiences in my life despite the virus walking around. Moreover, I can assure you that our Erasmus is unique in so many ways since no one has ever gotten a chance to be an exchange student during the quarantine. The circumstances we got make us feel even closer to each other like we’re all bound by one common issue we have to bear. For me personally it’s the longest time I have to live without my parents, solving problems I’ve got on my own, no virus can make that experience go bad. It is still an opportunity to dig into other country culture, the mindset of its people. I’m beyond happy I had a chance to beat everyone in competition for Poland, Warsaw and come here. I’m even beyond happy that I’ll come back home as a very special European guest with no one to compare me to.

Dmitry, Saint Petersburg State University
