Jacek Wojnicki -Ph.D. in political science (2000), habilitation in the discipline of political science (2008), professor of social sciences (2017), professor at the University of Warsaw, from 2012 to 2019 associate professor at the Institute of European Studies at the University of Warsaw, Department of European Subregional Studies, in the years 2015-2019 deputy director of the Institute of European Studies (didactics and quality of education). In 2015-2019, a member of the Departmental Didactic Committee. Since July 2019, head of the Department of Political Systems. Professional experience in public administration (Chancellery of the Sejm, the Capital City Hall). Since 2014, a member of the Editorial Board of “Studia Wyborcze” and a member of the Scientific Council of Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Sklodowska, sectio M – Balcaniensis et Carpathiensis. Since 2011, a member of the Scientific Council of the Science and Research Centre of the University of Lodz “The Balkans at the turn of the 20th/21st century”. Associate of State Examination Committee. In the years 2012-2019 he gave lectures, among others in Győr, Brno, Banska Bistrica, Ljubjana, Zagreb, Budapest, Pecs.
Research interests
Political systems of the countries of Central Europe and the Balkans, parties and party systems, issues of public administration and local authorities in Poland and other European countries.
