dr hab. Wojciech Lewandowski – Ph.D. of Humanities in Political Science. Academic at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. Co-founder and secretary of the BRITANNIA Research Group for British Social and Political Studies. Also former lecturer at the Centre for American Studies of the University of Warsaw. Member of the editorial board of “Przegląd Europejski” and “Creatio Fantastica”. Hosted a radio show “Art.Rockowy Świat”. Runs a blog Gitarą Rysowane (gitararysowane.pl) devoted to pop culture with particular focus on comic books and rock music.

Research interests

Politics and popular culture (socio-political issues and political ideologies in popular culture texts, in particular: comic books, progressive rock, 1960s counterculture, horror literature and film); political thought and the axiological dimension of politics (British and American tradition, fascism, anarchism and political ideas of the 1960s counterculture); British politics (devolution and the cultural and socio-political conditions and consequences of brexit).
