The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, a user of the Omega-PSIR program, undertakes the responsibility to run its website in accordance with the provisions of the act of April 4th, 2019 about the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. Application and complaint procedure

Everyone has the right to submit a request to ensure the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or any of their elements. You can also request information to be made available via an alternative access method, for example by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc.

The request should include the data of the person making the request, an indication of the website or mobile application in question, and the method of contact. If the person making the request requests information via an alternative access method, they should also specify a convenient way for them to present this information.

The public entity should comply with the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform the requesting party when it will be possible to comply with the request, provided that this deadline is no longer than 2 months from the date of the request.

If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative method of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of accessing the information, the requesting party may file a complaint regarding ensuring the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, an application may also be submitted to the Commissioner for Human Rights.

Entrance to the building

A ramp for the disabled at two entrances to the building.

Corridors and passages

All areas of the building are adapted for the disabled. Two elevators allow the disabled to enter. Each floor has a toilet for the disabled. No places with an entrance width of less than 90 cm. No places with handles and doorknobs over 110 cm. Access does not require the participation of third parties.

Additional assistance

Assistance is available at the porter’s lodge. The porter’s lodge is located next to the elevator, visible immediately after crossing entrance A into the building

Bathrooms, toilets, cloakrooms

Toilets for people with disabilities are marked and there is one on each floor.

Additional adaptations

The induction loop is located in the Baszkiewicz Hall on the ground floor of the building, the toilets are marked with Braille captions, and the elevators have voice information about the level of the building reached

Access and parking spaces

Access only by public transport.
