From 1991 to 2005 – research assistant and then assistant professor [adiunkt] at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, from 1994 to 1996 – national coordinator of the Higher Education Support Programme (HESP) and scholarship programmes at Stefan Batory Foundation.
