Tomasz Łukaszuk, PhD – MA in international studies (1991), PhD in politics and administration (2024), research and teaching employee of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw since 2017, previously a member of the Foreign Service of the Republic of Poland in the rank of Titular Ambassador, among others.: Ambassador to the Republic of India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka (2014-2017), Director of the Infrastructure Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2012-2014), Director of the Asia and Pacific Department (2010-2012), Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and Timor Eastern (2005-2010), Deputy Director of the Asia and Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002-2005), Deputy Head of Mission at the Polish Embassy in Jakarta (1998-2002). Since 2017, a member of the World Association for International Studies, participant of research projects under the European Commission grants “Global India” (2017-2021) and “Eurasian Insights: Strengthening Indo-Pacific Studies in Europe” (2018-2022). He delivered papers and lectures at conferences and seminars, including: at ISA congresses (2019, 2023, 2024) and PTSM (2018, 2022, 2023), at universities in Heidelberg, Oxford, Leuven, New Delhi (JNU), Mumbai (MU), Benares (BHU), Pondicherry (PU), Dhaka (DU), Jakarta (Binusa, UI).
