dr hab. Marko Babić – Habilitated doctor in political sciences (2020), researcher and lecturer at the Department of Political Sciences and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. In 2012-2019, secretary of the Department of European Subregional Studies, Institute of European Studies, Faculty of Political Science and International Studies. Since 2020, Head of EuroAsia Studies. Expert of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Speaker of the Sejm, Ministry of National Defense, Polish Institute of International Affairs, Centre for Eastern Studies, Aspen Institute from Berlin. Participant of many international experts conferences and lecturer among others in Belgrade (Serbia), Saint Petersburg (Russia), Berlin (Germany), Dijon (France), Gyor (Hungary), Aveiro (Portugal), Sarajevo (BiH), Budva (Montenegro).

Research interests
Western Balkans region: incl. geopolitical location, national and state-building processes, security policy and axiological and civilization conditions of the region. His further research interests also include the philosophy of politics, cultural anthropology and sociology in their theoretical and normative dimensions.
