On October 26-28, 2022, the 12th conference in the series “Genealogies of Memory” will be held at the University of Warsaw Library. “History and Memory in International Relations”. For three days, researchers from Europe and the world discuss various ways of remembering and interpreting historical events and their impact on international relations. A researcher from our Faculty, Dr. Iuliia Eremenko, gave a paper entitled “Memories and World Heritage Status: The Impact of Local Expertise” as part of the HERIEXPERT* research project.

*HERIEXPERT – project entitled “Local experts in Polish and German world heritage cities: their role in polycentric management of heritage sites” implemented as part of the POLONEZ BIS 1 competition of the National Science Center, which is co-financed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation framework program on the basis of an agreement No 945339 under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action.
