“Starsi Panowie chórem” – a concert as part of the “Polityka dźwięku”  series

The concert will be hosted by Monika and Grzegorz Wasowski. The Collegium Musicum UW choir will be conducted by Andrzej Borzym. For over 25 years, the choir has been performing songs by Starsi Panowie in original arrangements. They have over 44 songs in their repertoire. As part of the “Sound Politics” series, songs by the duo Jeremi Przybora will be presented, in which we find both subtle satire of the reality of the Polish People’s Republic and a longing for the elegance and class of the past.

Collegium Musicum of the University of Warsaw is a band founded in 1994 by lecturers, employees, and graduates of the University of Warsaw as a free academic association, giving amateurs the opportunity to perform music at a professional level, referring to the medieval tradition of collegium musicum.

The concert will take place on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the Baszkiewicz Auditorium.
