Conference invitation – A new quality of partnership: Poland and France facing European and global security challenges

The conference, organized by the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, will be an event inaugurating a new Polish-French expert dialogue in the field of security, defense, and strategic policy.

The meeting will bring together Polish specialists and analysts, creating a space for the academic and expert communities to unite around key challenges facing Europe, such as the war in Ukraine, changing transatlantic relations, strengthening the EU’s defense capabilities, and the future of NATO.

The conference will address issues related to the strategic culture of Poland and France – their
similarities, differences, and opportunities for complementary cooperation within the framework of joint European initiatives. It will also address issues related to building Europe’s strategic autonomy
Europe, cooperation between defense industries, and the development of a common reflection on security and defense in a changing international environment from the Polish and French perspectives.
