During the conference, Dr Wieczorek presented a paper entitled “Identification of trafficked persons among asylum seekers in Poland,” in which he referred to the research he conducted on foreigners who applied for refugee status or international protection between 2012 and 2020 and that the same time were identified as victims of trafficking.
