Seminar – Extremism in the Global South: Migration and Challenges for Bangladesh Foreign Policy

We encourage you to submit your applications for the International Conference “Elections – Democracy – Crisis” (EDC 2026) organised by our Faculty and the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT) of the University of Belgrade, which will take place on 26–26 March 2026 at the University of Belgrade.
The upcoming edition aims to examine the impact of contemporary crises (from wars to economic, energy and social turmoil) on democratic and social processes across Europe. We will pay particular attention to the challenges facing democracy in Central and Eastern Europe and the functioning of hybrid or authoritarian regimes, especially in light of the complex political situation in the country hosting this year’s edition and the ongoing student protests in Serbia.
