On 30.09.2021, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year for English-speaking students took place. Many guests including Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences prof. Gabriela Grotkowska, Dean for Student Affairs dr hab. Maciej Raś, Heads of studies dr hab. Dorota Heidrich and dr Jadwiga Nadolska participated in this event. Presentation and speeches prepared by the Faculty’s and University’s units such as Welcome Point, Polonicum, International Office, Students’ Union, School of Foreign Languages, Physical Education and Sports Center were aiming to help the international students with their beginning of classes and studies.

On 29.09.2021, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities 2021/2022 took place in the building of the former library of the University of Warsaw.
The following people took the floor during the ceremony: prof. dr. hab. Alojzy Nowak – Rector of the University of Warsaw, dr hab. Daniel Przastek – Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Rafał Trzaskowski – President of the Capital City Of Warsaw and student representatives: Adam August Michalik and Tamuda Usayiwevu. There was also matriculation of new students of our Faculty, whom we can now officially welcome to our academic community.
Inauguration lecture entitled Państwo a wojna. Wzajemne Relacje (State and war. Mutual Relations) was delivered by prof. dr hab. Stanisław Sulowski – former dean of the WNPiSM.
Certainly, the inauguration day is a special day for the academic community. During the speeches, both the role of our community and the great joy caused by returning to the university halls and corridors was emphasized many times.
