
On November 13, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw hosted a meeting with Colonel Tomasz Czekirda, Chief Specialist of the Military Engineering Board of the Armed Forces Command Inspectorate.
The event attracted a large audience, including students, doctoral students, and researchers interested in key defense issues.
The main point of the meeting was a lecture on the strategic defense project “Shield East.” Col. Czekirda discussed the assumptions, significance, and challenges associated with this project, which is crucial for national security, in an accessible and substantive manner. After the presentation, there was a question and answer session. Col. Czekirda provided comprehensive answers to a large number of questions from students, who actively participated in the discussion, raising numerous aspects of defense, geopolitics, and military strategy.
