Participation of the WNPiSM delegation in the Edu & Science Meeting trip to Colombia organized by NAWA

From October 2 to 5, 2025, a delegation from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw – Dr Aleksandra Jarczewska (Dean’s Representative for the Development of English-Language Studies) and Dr Joanna Gocłowska-Bolek – took part in a study visit organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

During their time in Bogotá, they visited Universidad Santo Tomás and Universidad de La Sabana, where they held discussions on student and staff exchange programs, as well as opportunities for academic collaboration. The delegation also met with representatives from the Polish Embassy in Colombia, members of the Polish diaspora, Colombian graduates of Polish universities, and officials from ICETEX – the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Studies Abroad as well as Colombia’s Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science.

Over the weekend (October 4-5), the team represented our Faculty and the University of Warsaw at the Expo Estudiante education fair. The WNPSM and UW booth attracted strong interest from Colombian students eager to learn more about studying in Poland.

We look forward to strengthening academic ties and creating new opportunities for exchange and cooperation with Colombian institutions and universities.
