On September 5-6, 2024, scientific conference and workshop titled “Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Military” took place, organized jointly by the International Center for Training and Research on Cultural Heritage in Danger in Wrocław (Poland), the Department of Education, Culture, and Heritage of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Poland, and the UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage in Public and Global Governance at the University of Warsaw.
Over 100 participants from both civilian and military sectors discussed the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage in emergencies, sharing experiences and analyzing the challenges of civil-military cooperation. The detailed report is coming soon!
