WNPiSM UW at the first EU Parliamentary Democracy Forum at the European Parliament

On November 19, 2025, the European Parliament hosted the first EU Parliamentary Democracy Forum, an event devoted to the current challenges facing democracy in Europe and ways to strengthen it in the coming years. The forum brought together representatives of EU institutions, experts, researchers, and practitioners of public life.

The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw was represented at the event by dr hab. Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś, who took part in the deliberations and discussions on the quality of democratic processes and the role of parliaments in shaping public policy.

The forum is an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience on the functioning of parliamentary democracy in Europe and for the development of recommendations for decision-makers.
