Study Visit to Vilnius

From 27 to 30 October 2025, students from our Faculty took part in a study visit to Vilnius, aimed at exploring the functioning of Lithuanian public institutions, academic environments, and media organizations.

During the four-day stay, participants had the opportunity to discover Vilnius – a city rich in history and culture – through a city tour organized by the students themselves. The programme also included a number of substantive meetings, including a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vilnius, where discussions focused on Polish-Lithuanian cooperation and the cultural activities of the Polish community in Lithuania.

Another important part of the visit was the meeting at the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, where students learned about the functioning of the Lithuanian political system and the everyday work of its members.

As part of the academic exchange, the participants also met with students from the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius and representatives of the Faculty of Law at Vilnius University. These meetings provided an excellent opportunity for inspiring discussions on education, scientific research, and inter-university collaboration.

The study visit concluded with a joint reflection and summary of the participants’ experiences. The trip to Vilnius was not only a valuable educational experience but also an opportunity to establish new academic and cultural connections. The visit was funded by the Teaching Excellence Fund.
