
We are proud and delighted to share the latest research achievements and international activities of the scholars at our Faculty!
Routledge will soon publish the monograph “Governing Islam and Violent Radicalization: Relational Constructions and Implications”. It includes a contribution co-authored by the Vice-Dean for Research prof. Łukasz Zamęcki titled “Reconceptualising the External and Internal Reasons for the 2019 Easter Sunday Attacks: The Rise of Islamic Extremism in Sri Lanka”. The publication is based on research conducted by prof. Zamęcki together with Mr.Mohamed Faslan.
Another recent publication is “Exclusion of Women in Post-Socialist Countries. Fields of Helplessness” published by the international academic publisher Palgrave Macmillan, part of Springer Nature group. The volume includes an article co-authored by Prof. Ewa Marciniak titled “Ukraine: The Cultural, Social, and Political Factors Affecting the Status of Women”.
Dr Saroj Kumar Aryal has been honoured with the prestigious “40 Under 40” award, presented by the President of Nepal during an official ceremony in recognition of his outstanding contribution to research on South Asian foreign policy and the role of small states in international relations.
These are further achievements that reflect the diversity of research conducted at our Faculty, its international reach and, above all, its global impact.
