Meeting with Prof. Zbigniew Siemiątkowski, author of “Sztuka wywiadu”

We invite you to a meeting with Prof. Zbigniew Siemiątkowski, author of “Sztuka wywiadu.” The publication reflects on the essence of intelligence activities and the place of special services in the state security system. The author attempts to define contemporary intelligence and its informational and analytical functions in the context of the dynamic geopolitical and technological changes of the 21st century.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The venue will be the Czarnowski Hall located on the ground floor of the building at Krakowskie Przedmieście 3, which belongs to the University of Warsaw. The meeting will be moderated by Prof. Aleksandra Gasztold. Prof. Zbigniew Siemiątkowski has invited Dr. Bolesław Piasecki as a guest speaker.

The meeting will be an opportunity for an in-depth debate on the role of intelligence in a modern state, the relationship between operational secrecy and democratic control of security institutions, and the importance of information and strategic analysis in contemporary security policy decision-making processes.
