35th Economic Forum in Karpacz
This year’s Economic Forum in Karpacz is now behind us. Each year, the event brings together representatives from academia, politics, business, the economy, and the media. The 35th edition of the Forum was held under the theme “Architecture of a New Order: Stability in Times of Change”.
We are particularly pleased that the University of Warsaw served as the academic partner of the event, while Forum participants also had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in the dedicated University of Warsaw Zone.
One of the panels held in the UW Zone, entitled “NUCLEAR POWER FOR POLAND: Security, Economy and Technology in the New Energy Order”, focused on nuclear energy. It brought together experts, including Prof. Krzysztof Tomaszewski from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw.
Prof. Bartłomiej Biskup from our Faculty also took part in the Forum, moderating and participating in panels addressing, among other topics, Europeans’ trust in public institutions, current election polls, and the role of women in academia and politics.
We are delighted to see such an active presence of representatives of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw at one of Poland’s most important events of its kind. We warmly congratulate our representatives on their insightful contributions and thank them for sharing their expertise in discussions on important contemporary issues.
