Welcome Point organizes welcome meetings for all new foreign students who will start their studies at the University of Warsaw in the upcoming 2020/2021 academic year.
Meeting in English will be held on September 29 at 11:00, and the one in Polish on September 30, also at 11:00. Both meetings will take place online (via Zoom platform) – the link will be sent to students after prior registration. During the meetings, the most important information about the University, offices and opportunities that students can take advantage of will be presented. In cooperation with the UW Students’ Council, Welcome Point also organizes two meetings in English about the students’ rights. The first meeting will take place on October 1 at 10:30, the next on October 6 at 18:00.
On October 5, at 6 p.m., we invite students to a library training course, which will be conducted by a representative of the University of Warsaw Library.
In cooperation with the Museum of the University of Warsaw, we also organize a series of walks around the Central Campus (two held in English on September 30 and October 7 at 2:00 PM and one conducted in Polish on October 4 at 2:00 PM).
A city game is planned to take place in the first half of October. The game will allow new students to get to know some interesting places in Warsaw. Welcome Point will inform you about the date and other details soon on their website: http://www.welcome.uw.edu.pl/
