The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw has been honored with the “Signpost of Hospitality” award, which is given to institutions that are particularly active in implementing the “Initiative of Excellence – Research University” (IDUB) program.

The award was granted for hosting the largest number of foreign researchers and, thus, for consistent efforts to internationalize scientific research, build lasting academic partnerships, and strengthen the presence of Polish science in the international research community. The award confirms the significant role that WNPiSM plays in creating an open and friendly environment for cross-border scientific cooperation.

The “Signpost of Hospitality” was presented during a gala ceremony summarizing six years of the IDUB Program at the University of Warsaw. Prof. Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk, dean of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, accepted the award on behalf of the faculty.

The IDUB Program, implemented at the University of Warsaw since 2020, is one of the key instruments for supporting research excellence. Thanks to its mechanisms, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies systematically develops international cooperation, attracts researchers from abroad, and creates a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and research perspectives.
