We, along with the UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage in Public and Global Governance at the University of Warsaw, had the honour of hosting the 18th Annual Meeting of the South-East European Network of Experts on Intangible Cultural Heritage at our Faculty on 10th October. The Network, established in 2007 under the auspices of UNESCO, aims to support the implementation of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage across the region.
The event was marked by important and fruitful discussions, reflecting a collaborative effort between the organizers—UNESCO, the City of Warsaw, and our UNESCO Chair—and our partners: the Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-East Europe based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Museum of Warsaw.
