
On 26–27 March 2026, the third edition of the international academic conference Elections – Democracy – Crisis 2026 (EDC26) was held in Belgrade. The conference was jointly organized by the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw.
The event brought together scholars and representatives of research centres from numerous countries, including Poland, Romania, Sweden, Italy, Finland, Canada, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Slovakia, Latvia, North Macedonia, Switzerland, and Bulgaria, creating a truly international forum for academic exchange and debate.

We are pleased to announce that the fourth edition of the conference will be hosted in Warsaw in 2028.
