Prestigious international publication by researchers from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw!

The latest special issue of the prestigious journal Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica (Vol. 26, No. 3) features an article by Professor Dorota Heidrich and Professor Jakub Zajączkowski entitled “Reconfiguración de la lógica del orden internacional,” co-authored with Professor Jorge A. Schiavon of Universidad Iberoamericana.

This issue of the Latin American edition of Foreign Affairs is devoted entirely to middle powers and the reconfiguration of the international order. Its contributors include internationally renowned experts and scholars. Alongside researchers from the University of Warsaw, the issue features analyses by Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, Professor Stephen M. Walt, Professor Michael Beckley, Professor Oliver Stuenkel, and Professor Jorge Heine, among others.

In their article, the University of Warsaw researchers highlight the erosion of the liberal international order and its implications for the international system, in which great powers are acting with increasing freedom. The authors argue that, under these conditions, middle powers are emerging as key actors capable of contributing to global stability through multilateralism and their ability to build regional and global coalitions.
