Guest Lecture by Prof. Rory Medcalf and Australian National Security College Delegation Visit

The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, in cooperation with the Student Research Club of Pacific Countries, invites you to a meeting with the National Security College (ANU) delegation. The event will take place on February 4, 2026, in Room 223 (Auditorium Building).

Professor Rory Medcalf will deliver a lecture titled: „No continent is an island: an Australian view of the New Global Disorder”, the lecture will focus on the strategic challenges facing middle-power democracies in the Indo-Pacific and Europe. Professor Medcalf will discuss the limitations of transactional bilateralism in favor of international solidarity and robust national capabilities. The visiting delegation includes high-level experts in diplomacy, electoral integrity, and regional security. Representatives from the Australian Embassy and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also participate in the session.
