Heqi Sun receives external research funding!

We are proud to announce that Heqi Sun, a PhD student under prof. Marian Haliżak’s supervision at WNPISM, has been awarded the Lithuanian State Scholarship. This scholarship supports his research project titled “From the Baltic to the Western Balkans: China’s Political and Economic Presence in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Heqi Sun will be conducting his research at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) over the next ten months. His work will take place at the Centre for Asian Studies and the Andrei Sakharov Research Centre for Democratic Development at VMU.
