On Thursday, 11 June, we said goodbye to Professor Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk – our Dean.
The past weeks have been a time of sadness, reflection, and contemplation for us all. At the same time, they have borne witness to the strength of our community. During this period, we received countless expressions of support and remembrance – from staff, students, doctoral candidates, alumni, the authorities and representatives of the University of Warsaw, as well as other faculties and universities, institutions and organisations cooperating with our Faculty, and numerous friends of Professor Kołodziejczyk and members of the academic community.
We thank you all for your presence, kindness, solidarity, and dignified conduct in these difficult moments. All entries left in the book of condolences, as well as all expressions of remembrance, will be passed on to Professor Kołodziejczyk’s Family as a testimony of respect, gratitude, and memory.
We leave you with the memory of Professor Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk – a person deeply committed to the life of our Faculty and the University, full of energy, kindness, and warmth. This is how we will remember Her: open to people, devoted to Her work, always ready for conversation, support, and action. Her smile, goodness, and care for others will remain an enduring part of our community’s memory.
