Professor Hanna Schreiber took part in a 3 days long training organised for UNESCO’s global facilitators in Sofia from 17th to 19th October. Prof. Schreiber is the only person from Poland who is authorized by the UNESCO to conduct trainings in the field of intangible heritage and the 2003 Convention in every country in the world.

From the 24th to 28th October Prof. Schreiber is in France, conducting her research in UNESCO’s headquarters and presenting seminars in Vitre, in Maison des Cultures du Monde – centre français du patrimoine culturel immatériel, about the results of grant NCN Sonata 15: Między dziedzictwem świata i ludzkości.

In November Prof. Schreiber will take part in a meeting of The Intergovernmental Committee for the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in Rabat (Maroko). During the meeting committee will decide about new entries for UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Prof. Schreiber was coordinator and co-author of the first nomination submitted by Poland to the Representative List of the ICH of Humanity on Nativity scene (szopka) tradition from Kraków.
