Ladies and Gentlemen,

Information about passing the training on safe and hygienic conditions of education (“Training in occupational safety and health” – OSH) at the University of Warsaw (UW) in academic year 2021/2022.

Health and Safety training is organised at university level.

Health and Safety training is delivered via e-learning.

Health and Safety training is mandatory for all Students commencing their studies in the academic year 2021/2022 in the first year of full-time and part-time studies.

All Students admitted to Year 1 in AY. 2021/2022 have been registered for Health and Safety training in the winter term 2021/2022.

The Health and Safety test will only be available in two dates in the winter semester 2021/2022:

I: from 2/11/2021 to 13/02/2022

II: from 25/02/2022 to 06/03/2022

Additional Health and Safety test dates in AY. 2021/2022 are not foreseen.

If you do not pass the Health and Safety training in one of the above mentioned terms, you will be able to repeat the training (with a fee) only in the following academic year.

The training materials (unlimited access) and the Health and Safety test (access only at the above dates) are available on the website https://kampus.come.uw.edu.pl

In case of technical or health problems that occur during the training, you can contact the subject coordinator/organiser by email bhp-pomoc@uw.edu.pl

If you have completed the Health and Safety course as part of your previous education at UW or another university earlier than in AY. 2017/2018 the training must be completed in AY. 2021/2022.

If you have completed the Health and Safety course as part of your previous education at UW or another university in AY. 2017/2018 or later it is possible to re-take the course or to apply for the credit for the Health and Safety to be rewritten for the course/level of study started in AY. 2021/2022.

 

The rules of the aforementioned transfer of the Health and Safety credit for the course of study started in AY. 2021/2022:

-Students who have passed the Health and Safety course at UW are required to report this to the student section of their course;

-Students who have passed the Health and Safety course at an institution of higher education other than UW must report to the student section of their field of study in order to submit a document confirming the passing the course, i.e. a certificate or a diploma supplement.

 

NOTE: a certificate of completion of a Health and Safety course from the workplace does not entitle the student to credit for the training at the UW.

 

The above submissions should be made by the Students before the end of the designated course credit dates.
