Over 200 participants took part in the hybrid seminar “The role of ASEAN in the period of regional order transformation in the Asia-Pacific region”. The Department of Global and Regional Studies organized this event in cooperation with the Universities of Southeast Asia. 13 scholars from 10 universities presented a wide range of topics on ASEAN, Indo-Pacific and small states perspectives on great power politics in Asia and the Pacific region. The scholar came from the University of Malaya, Thammasat University, De Salle University, Chulalongkorn University, BINUS University and Airlangga University. After the seminar, we met to establish a plan for academic cooperation in the academic year 2023/24.
By the end of April, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies will have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on “strategic cooperation” and “Bilateral student exchange” with:
- Thammasat University, Department of Political Science.
- University of Malaya, Department of International and Strategic Studies.
- De Salle University, College of Liberal Arts.
- Chulalongkorn University, Department of Political Science.
- BINUS University, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences.
- Airlangga University, Department of Political and Social Sciences.
