
Visit by a delegation from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in Bogotá
The Department of Political Science and International Studies hosted a delegation from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in Bogotá. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation between our department and the Colombian university.
During the discussion, topics addressed included student and faculty exchanges, as well as opportunities for joint research and teaching projects. There was also discussion about the role of international cooperation in the development of research and education in the social sciences.
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Management was represented during the talks by: Vice- Dean for International Cooperation Prof. Agnieszka Bieńczyk-Missala, Vice-Dean for Research Prof. Łukasz Zamęcki, the Dean’s Representative for the Development of English-Language Programs Dr. Aleksandra Jarczewska, and Dr. Joanna Gocłowska-Bolek, a specialist in Latin American and Caribbean studies.
The delegation from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas included: Head of URELINTER, the Office of International and Interinstitutional Relations, Prof. Alexis Adamy Ortiz Morales; Interinstitutional Laboratories Coordinator, Prof. Miller Gómez Mora; Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Prof. Rocío Rodríguez Guerrero; the Coordinator for Academic Staff Mobility and Visiting Professors, Mr. Jose Guillermo Grijalba Cabrera; and the Academic Delegation Chaperones, Ms. Deisy Carolina Parra Buitrago and Mr. Doriam Alejandro Rosero Rodríguez.
